Phil Fitzsimon-Porter

Phil is a founding partner at Philanthrope. He leads operations, governance, and non-search delivery at Philanthrope. He oversees how the firm runs day to day, ensuring its co-operative model supports long-term client success.

Phil also co-leads Philanthrope Capital, the firm’s sustainable investment arm. He works with founders, boards, and investors to deploy capital into mission-aligned ventures. His role covers investment operations, governance, and portfolio support, helping ventures scale without compromising purpose.

Alongside his role at Philanthrope, Phil is also the founder of Caldwells, a sustainable multi-site consumer business. Earlier in his career, he held finance roles at Manchester United. He has worked across commercial and operational functions in both private and purpose-led organisations.
